Europe needs you! How to solve the eurozone crisis...and win £250,000

London (CNN) – It’s not everyday that I wake up to the smell of £250,000.

So, when I saw what was on offer this morning – create an orderly plan for countries to exit the euro and win just shy of US$400,000 – I started to think of my options.

But what would be my plan? Is an exit from the euro even viable?

Some background: Lord Wolfson, CEO of retailer Next, announced the Wolfson Economics Prize, the second largest economics cash prize next to the Nobel, to be awarded to the person who comes up with the least painful way for European nations to disentangle themselves from the European Monetary Union, which unites 17 nations under a single currency.

For the past few months, we’ve been told by economists, finance ministers and politicians that such a move would be disastrous. Legally, we know that no one country can leave. The treaties governing the eurozone have no provisions for a member leaving of its own volition or being expelled by others, so this would need to be revised.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Disney is planning to license "an extensive line of clothing and accessories" to Hot Topic in the weeks leading up to the March 5 release of Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland." (That includes a soundtrack featuring music by The Cure's Robert Smith.)

(CNN) -- SeaWorld will resume killer whale shows while the company and two federal agencies investigate the death of a whale trainer at SeaWorld Orlando, company and federal officials announced Friday.
The shows, which were suspended at all SeaWorld locations after the death Wednesday at SeaWorld Orlando, will resume Saturday with new precautionary measures in place, said Jim Atchison, president of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
Earlier Friday, the Labor Department's Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Agriculture Department's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service announced they were looking into the death of Dawn Brancheau, 40.

If workplace infractions are found, OSHA will propose financial penalties, Wald said. If that happens, the company could accept the penalties and make any necessary workplace changes or appeal proposed penalties before an OSHA review commission.
David Sacks, Agriculture Department spokesman, said inspectors are looking into the incident from the animal welfare perspective.
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service wants to know if there were any violations of the Animal Welfare Act, a federal set of minimum-care standards for entities that get USDA licenses, including facilities that exhibit warm-blooded mammals to the public.
Sacks said the incident will trigger a "focused" investigation, in which inspectors will go to SeaWorld to gather facts. If they think any welfare-act violations contributed to the incident, a formal investigation will begin.
Such violations could trigger fines and even license suspensions and revocations.
"If we feel animals are suffering, we can confiscate the animal," Sacks said. He said SeaWorld Orlando has never been the object of a penalty enforcement.
In a video posted on SeaWorld's blog, Chuck Tompkins, head of animal training for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, mourned Brancheau's death and raised the issue of safety standards.
"We need to evaluate our safety procedures and how we interact with these animals," he said, and he stressed that it's "extremely important that we continue to take care of these animals the best way possible."
The same whale was linked previously to two other deaths.
Tilikum and two other whales were involved in the drowning of a trainer at a Victoria, British Columbia, marine park in 1991. The trainer fell into the whale tank at Sealand of the Pacific and was dragged underwater as park visitors watched.
In 1999, Tilikum was blamed for the death of a 27-year-old man whose body was found floating in a tank at SeaWorld, the apparent victim of a whale's "horseplay," authorities said then.

Now here’s a blast from the past. Rayman was one of the premium platformers on the PS1. He would use his hand to grab, punch and swing from start to finish in a glorious amount of colourful worlds, always with great bosses.
Then they came…
The Rabbids.
They started off as the enemy of Rayman back on the PS2, however the game didn’t sell too well. But then along came the Wii and with it a cavalcade of people looking to not play games but mini-games.
Ubisoft saw the potential here and sprung on it. Now Rayman is a retired character and any hope of him getting a new game, by himself, is dead and gone with the latest incarnation of the Rabbids where, as far as I can see, he is absent and not accounted for.

PacMan is a very popular arcade game if not the one that “started it all”. Created by Tohru Iwatani for Namco, it was released in Japan in 1979 and became an instant hit.
A few of us know that the hero was first named “PuckMan” evidently due to his shape. However, before its release in the United States, the title was changed to “PacMan” because PuckMan was an easy target for vandals to convert into a vulgarity.
This Flash version of PacMan was developed by Paul Neave in 2004 and is so far the closest version from the original. So close that the game is no longer available on Neave’s website “due to legal constraints surrounding its misuse of Namco’s trademark and copyright”.
Luckily, the game spread everywhere on the Web, and it can be easily found in many portals. Meet “Blinky”, “Pinky”, “Inkey” (original name “Inky”) and “Clyde” in this near-perfect adaptation! Have fun!

47 years ago...and now...next year on tiger year..i will be completly 48 years old...

i borned under influence of new moon...so i never scare anything although that is the secret inside darkness...maybe look like my depart..borned after me two days...

and very strange thing that in my birth day...the brightly stardust over my sunrise birth time are jupitor and venus..that make me full of alert about knowledge and life ...

in black night....with sun,moon and mercury nearly close ..venus look very ...very...springle..so look like i am love to decorate myself and full of self of belonging in my properties and assets i behave rule..sometime i am very dump into saving style and look luxury taste on convenient as human being 's life must be..

(CNN) -- The longest solar eclipse of the century cast a wide shadow for several minutes over Asia and the Pacific Ocean Wednesday, luring throngs of people outside to watch the spectacle.

Day turned into night, temperatures turned cooler in cities and villages teemed with amateur stargazers.

The total eclipse started in India on Wednesday morning and moved eastward across Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Vietnam, China and parts of the Pacific. Millions cast their eyes towards the heavens to catch a rare view of the sun's corona.

Cloud cover in some areas prevented people from fully savoring the phenomenon. Still, many were awed.

Tim O'Rourke, a 45-year-old freelance photographer from Detroit, Michigan, lives in Hong Kong but traveled up to Shanghai -- touted as one of the best spots to watch the eclipse. Watch the 'exceptional' eclipse »

"It was pitch black like midnight," said O'Rourke, standing in People's Square with what appeared to be a crowd of thousands.

Clinton: Full disclosure with Iraqis on any talks with insurgents

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Friday she was only recently made aware of reconciliation talks between U.S. diplomats and Sunni insurgents in Iraq, and she promised to keep the Iraqi government informed about such discussions in the future.

“We intend to make sure the Iraqi government is fully informed of any such activities,” Clinton told reporters following a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki. “We want a close working relationship.”

Iraqi officials said Friday they were investigating reports of the meetings, calling them a violation of Iraqi sovereignty. The reports, which detail a supposed signed agreement between the Americans and insurgents, have angered Iraqis as they seek to establish their authority in the wake of the withdrawal of American troops from Iraqi cities.

Al-Maliki said he was “satisfied” with what he heard from Clinton, who assured him the United States would not negotiate with any extremists who killed Iraqi or American troops.

Ali al-Jubouri, identified as the secretary-general of the Political Council of the Iraqi Resistance, told Al-Jazeera his group held talks with U.S. officials in March and in May and signed a “protocol to organize the negotiation process and a document that included U.S. recognition of the Iraqi resistance.”

The State Department acknowledged unspecified meetings took place months ago but said the Iraqi government knew about them at the time.

Deputy State Department Spokesman Robert Wood said Friday that the meetings were part of a wide range of U.S. contacts with Iraqis to promote political reconciliation.

“The meetings in question occurred months ago and with the knowledge of officials within the Iraqi government,” Wood said. “Having spent the past six years helping Iraq build a representative and effective democratic government, the last thing we would do is take any action intended to undercut it.”

A senior administration official told CNN that embassy officials did sign a protocol document with the group about logistics for the third round of talks. When the talks were scrapped, he said, the document was leaked.

But Clinton, who said the talks were “only recently brought to my attention,” said the State Department “did not authorize” the signing such a protocol.

U.S. diplomatic and military officials have negotiated with Sunni insurgents in the past with some success, most notably persuading Sunni tribal leaders to turn against al Qaeda, which has been cited as a key factor for the reduction of violence in 2007.

The reports of the meetings come as al-Maliki wrapped up a visit to the United States after meeting President Barack Obama on Wednesday.

On Friday Clinton held two hours of talks with al-Maliki about the future strategic partnership between the U.S. and Iraq, in which they agreed to cooperate on a wide range of issues, ranging from education to trade to tourism.
